Happy Thanksgiving, Friend!

Walking By Faith

HELLO, FRIEND.

I know it’s been a minute since we’ve chatted. And I’m guessing, that if you’re anything like me, you’ve had more than your share of twists and turns this year. I’ve definitely been quieter than usual, as we’ve continued to navigate life and ministry and all the rest.

Sometimes that’s all we can do, isn’t it? One foot in front of the other. Taking each step by faith. Not knowing what’s around the bend, but trusting the One who sees it all and faithfully leads us on.

I would love to hear how this year has been for you, and what the Lord is showing you.

As always, THANK YOU so much for sharing this faith journey with me, friend.

Grateful for His strength to take the next step of faith.

For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “the just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:17)

Okay, before anything else, aren’t you beyond thankful that no matter what each new year (or day) holds, we can put our trust and HOPE in the One who will never fail or forsake us?

Me too. Times a thousand.

I can’t imagine facing this life and all its twists and turns without Him.

So, I’m posting this (a few days later than I intended, but here we are) because I need to let you know about a couple of time sensitive things.

First of all, since we’re kicking off a new year, and because we want our priorities straight, it’s the perfect time to jump into a Bible reading plan. I heard from many of you that loved the one I shared last year, which takes you through the entire Bible in chronological order. Here it is, in case you missed it the first time, or just want to print off a fresh copy.

Second, I’m so excited to be a part (along with my handsome husband) of the 7th annual Homemaking Ministries Online Conference, a one of a kind event, hosted by my friend Jami Balmet of The Young Wife’s Guide.

It’s a fully ONLINE CONFERENCE where Gospel centered theology meets everyday practical living. There really is no other resource out there quite like this for Christian women. And the best part? You don’t have to hire a babysitter, pay for a plane ticket, or arrange a hotel. It’s all online so you can participate and watch from the comfort of your own living room – wherever you are in the world.

I love that the theme is FINDING JOY IN YOUR HOME with topics that are so PRACTICAL, yet also go deeper to that heart level we all need. In my session, I’ll be “interviewing” my husband, a full-time Biblical counselor, about how to find true joy and peace, wherever you are, even (or especially) in the midst of difficult circumstances.
