The Happy Day Project 2012

The Happy Day Project Banner

Happy Monday!

And look what rainbow happy-ness is back in town!

If it’s new to you, let me explain …

The Happy Day Project is a fun project started by
Jeannett and Julie last year
encouraging us to spread sunshine
and blessings to people around us
in fun and maybe unexpected ways.

You can read all about it here
and see the scheduled line-up of goodies.
Then each day this week, check in with Jeannett
for your assignment and a pretty printable to help you along.

Today’s project is accompanied by
some super cute {free} notecards
from the talented Lindsay at Pen & Paint.

And tomorrow,
there might just be some more rainbow brightness for you
from my little studio ๐Ÿ˜‰

Okay, so what are you waiting for?
Go spread some sunshine!

Oh, and I’d love to hear how you do it,
so keep us in the loop!

To Everything There Is A Season

Seasons Fall Leaf Art Printable

Happy Fall!

Even though it’s still in the mid to upper 80’s here in California,
we’ll take it over the 100+ degree weather of a few weeks ago ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m usually a sun & summer girl all the way …
but this year I’m actually looking forward to the promise of
chilly nights and autumn leaves.

I’ve also lately been struck with
how creative God is.
He could have given us one season.
One constant temperature or weather pattern.
Instead, we get to enjoy all the variations that each day brings.

I want to look forward to and truly appreciate this day.
Not looking backward or forward,
longing for something that isn’t now.
Just being grateful for what is.

To remind myself of this truth
I made up a new art printable
with the words from Ecclasiastes 3:1

To every thing there is a season
and a time for every purpose
under heaven.

I was inspired by this – picked up on a recent walk …

times and seasons

Simple, amazing beauty
from a simply amazing Creator.

You can download the free art printable here.
The pdf file is formatted as an 8.5 x 11 standard paper size
with a white border.

P.S. I recently added a new page where you can find
all the free Hope Ink printables in one place
(You can also get to it by the tab on the top menu.)

Here’s to enjoying this day.

The one He made just for us.

He’s Alive and I’m Forgiven!

Jesus Christ is alive!

What an amazing thought to wrap our minds around.

He’s alive.

His tomb is empty.

We serve a risen Savior.

A mighty God.

The only One who can save us from death & hell.

What joy!

What peace.

So, every Easter I have to play this song.

And I cry every time.

What sweet relief to know that

He’s alive & I’m forgiven.

I made this for our Easter morning.

Easter Bible Verse Typography

Framed on our dining room table,

along with a few treats for the kids.

Oh, and I wanted to share it with you too, of course.

You can click on the image to download a free 8.5 x 11 PDF printable.

I printed mine on white card stock & it came out perfect.

Have a blessed Easter.

He is Risen!
