Two Tuesday Treats

Happy Tuesday, sweet friends!
How is your week so far?

Have you put up any Christmas decorations yet?
Are you listening to this over and over?

I’m working on lots of projects (including our own Christmas cards … crossing my fingers that they’ll be out on time!), and enjoying cozy days inside with the kids. Hoping to have a new Christmas coloring printable for them (and you!) soon. In the meantime, here’s one I posted last year …

Christmas Nativity Coloring Sheet Printable

That’s the first treat for you today.

And the second is this fun giveaway hosted by the lovely Erin at The Vintage Pearl!

I met Erin online a couple years ago soon after I opened up my Etsy shop, and have always been so encouraged by her. Mama to four kiddos, very close in age to my four, I’m inspired by her creativity and dedication to use her gifts to bless others.

So hop on over to Erin’s blog and say hello!
And go put on some Christmas music!

He’s Alive and I’m Forgiven!

Jesus Christ is alive!

What an amazing thought to wrap our minds around.

He’s alive.

His tomb is empty.

We serve a risen Savior.

A mighty God.

The only One who can save us from death & hell.

What joy!

What peace.

So, every Easter I have to play this song.

And I cry every time.

What sweet relief to know that

He’s alive & I’m forgiven.

I made this for our Easter morning.

Easter Bible Verse Typography

Framed on our dining room table,

along with a few treats for the kids.

Oh, and I wanted to share it with you too, of course.

You can click on the image to download a free 8.5 x 11 PDF printable.

I printed mine on white card stock & it came out perfect.

Have a blessed Easter.

He is Risen!

InstaFriday

Happy Friday!

It’s weeks like these that I really love California …

The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, and the skies are amazing.

And the crazy ridiculous heat is just a distant memory.
Or a future terror. Depending on how you look at it …

Sunlight breaking through clouds in blue sky
β€œfor great is Your love, reaching to the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.” {psalm 57:10}

pink roses on cake plate
flowers for Mom.

Each of my four kids have gone through flower giving phases.

In which they bring me flowers from the yard all day. Sometimes on the hour. Or every five minutes.

I usually have to end up setting a limit, but I hate to see their little disappointed faces when I do.

Currently, it’s the four year old who is the chief flower giver.

I’m sad to think that the older ones may have outgrown it.

Although my 9 year old boy did bring me cherry blossoms after basketball practice the other day.

All is not lost.

Our neighbors next door are selling their house
and cleaning out 30 years worth of treasures along the way.

Some of which have been entrusted to us. Like this vintage green chalkboard

complete with Raggedy Ann & Andy. Love.

Now if I could just find a blank bit of wall space …

Our school room is a wee bit crowded right now.

Rainbow Hearts
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. {1 John 3:16}

We’re not usually big Valentines Day celebrators,

but the kids did have fun making cards for friends and sharing candy.

Plus, it’s always a good reminder for us

to remember what true love looks like.

Jesus.

How was your week?

life rearranged
